Rangel must have lost a few too many brain cells, for the other day, he announced he planned to introduce a bill early next year to reinstate the draft, however, the Democratic Leader's in the House, specifically the House Majority Leader elect Hoyer, is saying that a draft will NOT be on the agenda early next year.........DEVELOPING

Saudi's threaten to sever diplomatic ties with Britian...

I found this interesting little gem on lukery's blog....THe Saudi's are threatening to sever ties with Britian if Tony Blair does not shut down a corruption/bribery investigation......My question is, if this does infact happen, will Britian be cut off from Saudi (and possible OPEC) Oil? And if that succeeds, do the Saudi's have something they can bribe the United States over, or otherwise sever ties and cut off our oil too? Maybe a little far fetched, but they HAVE been bitching about how low the price of oil has gotten......I think the only thing keeping the Saudi's as our (coughs loudly) "friends" is if we didn't support them, the House of Saud would fall the day we withdrew support...........DEVELOPING

Since Pelosi was formally selected by the House to be the Speaker, that makes her, via the Constitution, second in line of succession for the Presidency....therefore the theroy goes if Bush and Cheney are both impeached, convicted, and removed from office, your new President of the United States of America would be Nancy Pelosi...I can see the conservative media now...oh, this is the end of American Democracy...this is a coup by the Democratic Majority...I wouldn't be suprised to see a new civil war started, led by Supreme Commander Rush Limbaugh (I feel that title would be fitting since he claims frequently that he has "talent on loan from GOD"), Generals' Hannity and O'Reilly, and Lt. Wow, this is a GREAT way to keep America safe, BAN the Air Marshal's from your flights...way to go US Airways Express (I take it you feel more comfortable with your flight attendants being the ones who will safeguard your plane in cases of emergency...i have a feeling the next time I fly I will make sure it will not be with Republic Airlines, US Airways/Airways Express and, if US Airways aquires Delta, I will not be using Delta either........DEVELOPING
